Bay Lough Kayaking operates out of Bay Lough Lake, on the Cappoquin/Lismore road outside Clogheen, Co. Tipperary.
The lake is accessed by foot from a car park located at the following Google Maps reference – https://bit.ly/3MailHP. Save it to your phone for when you are travelling.
Please Note: it will take 15 to 20 minutes to get from the car park to Bay Lough Lake. Please allow for this when calculating your travel time to the lake. It is an 800m walk, all downhill on the way to the lake and obviously uphill on the way back. The road has been resurfaced, so it can take strollers, mobility scooters, etc. The road cannot be accessed by vehicluar traffic.
